Behavior genetics – your genes want to do things…

Are you a slave to your genes? Well, then I am in great company. I actually believe in behavior science genetics, just so you know. I chose a trademark connected to my 18th Century ancestors… that I find really odd. I didn’t know that, when I chose it, just so you know. Was it in my genes? I have no fucking clue. According to an article in SVD, researchers at Karolinska institute are saying our genes affect us in becoming criminals. Interesting. That would explain why my cousin is a criminal, I’m not related to one of it’s parents. It must have inherited it from that parent… ? I guess this is how you would look at things if you believe in gene inheritance. I don’t know how genes affect us. They give us skills. In my family trees there are a lot of farmers work and handicraft skills. I’m no farmer… I however like to work with my hands and do handicraft. My mother is very artistic and so are we children. But my kid is artistic too, but we share no genes. But my kid is someone who wants to lie, hide and steal. If that is in the genes? I have no idea. The kid has money in the bank, a wardrobe full of clothes, has all the stuff any kid would want… so it really doesn’t need to lie, hide and steal, still it does all those things… Since I have no idea of my kids genes I don’t jump in to conclusions. It might just be a testing phase and an age thing, it’s just been going on for some years… hoping it might pass. Well. It can be dependent on past experiences prior to us being parents also. But I really don’t know, do I? No.
