Facebook “all mighty”? Facebook haves nine rules, according to Aftonbladet.se article, for censoring photos. Imagine what power and work force it must take to go trough all images on Facebook with 800 million users. I cannot imagine it not to be automatic, of course it must be automatic… but then someone must view the red flags I guess. It must consume time, mustn´t it? Facebook is acting like a authority, only problem is that they are not, they are a private company. Nowadays even on the stock market, so anyone may buy shares.

So what if your photos are censored? The problem is that Facebook is acting like a God, they decide what is in their nine rules. They decide. What if the photo is not within their rules according to others? Well, it´s very difficult to get in touch with Facebook, they are not the easiest. You can only contact them on Facebook…. Sending emails don´t give a reply, it´s been tested.

So what did Facebook censour this time? Well they censored family photos of a handicapped boy. He lived for 8 hours and the parents where proud and happy about those hours, if I understood the article right. They wanted to share images of him with friends and family and published them on Facebook. Facebook took them away. Censored them due to how they looked. Well, pardon the parents for not showing a photo of a healthy baby or what??? Why they took them away is not clearly written in the article more than how the images looked…. I just wonder… are ugly people going to be censored in the future?

Bojkott Facebook – they are not God. Don´t give them the power to be either.
